potty problems

Monday night when we got home I noticed that the toilet in the master bathroom was making this gurgling sound when it was flushed so I mentioned it to Jeremy Tuesday night when he got home. He looked at it, lifted the lid and jiggled something and said it was fine. We both used it later that night with no problem.
Well, Wednesday morning I got up and went to the bathroom and got in the shower. When I got out of the shower I flushed the toilet (I always flush post-shower so I am not scalded) and the water began to quickly rise! I hurried to turn off the water but I was half a second too late and potty water was overflowing into the bathroom. Jeremy was still in the bed half asleep when I started screaming "BABY! Get in here NOW!" he ran in and I ran to get towels and the mop. It was SO disgusting, but my sweet husband cleaned up all the tee-tee water and then sterilized the bathroom all while I was getting ready because I couldn't be late for work.
Let me just tell you how blessed I realized I was because there is no way I would ever have wanted to clean up that mess and if I was single there would have been no one else.
The weird thing is that the toilet wasn't even stopped up or anything, it just overflowed. And it has been fine since.

Oh wait til you have a 3 year old who uses almost a whole roll of TP then flushes before you can get there. Or when you have a mommy moment and accidentally flush the kids underwear. That's when you shut the door and wait for daddy to get home. :)

wow, you HAVE been blogging! I just spent a few minutes catching up on the last few posts!

Your one about "cat's out of the bag" made me sad! I'm going to miss you so much! I think we are long-lost twins separated by about 20 years! haha! ;-)

It was so good reading about your fun weekend in Atlanta! What an awesome experience!

Hope you have a good weekend. I'm going to try to blog a little! ;-)
