I am now an employee of Lifetouch! This morning I received a phone call from the District Manager of Lifetouch Portraits Preschool Division and was offered a position as a preschool photographer!
Most of you know that I have applied for countless jobs this summer with little response from anyone. Last Tuesday I received a phone call from Lifetouch asking to set up an interview, my interview was on Friday with one of the lead photographers in Mobile and then the District Manager conducted a phone interview with me Monday morning. Originally they had told me they would make a decision by lunchtime Monday so when I didn't hear from them yesterday I assumed I didn't get the job. Jeremy wasn't as sure I was though. We have really prayed that if this was the job I was supposed to take that it would be offered to me, but if not then I wouldn't be offered the job. Jeremy just knew that God would give us a clear yes or no and not leave it unanswered, so when the phone rang at 10:30 a.m. this morning and it was Lifetouch offering me the job I said "Yes!" without hesitation. I have to believe that this is where God wants me to be right now. We have prayed earnestly since I turned in my notice at ACA that God would provide the right job and the right time and there have been many times where it seems like I may have something and then a door is closed.
About 2 weeks ago I really started stressing out about money since I just got my last paycheck from ACA. I knew we would be ok through August but we had already cut back on EVERYTHING possible. The whole time I have truly believed that God would provide and take care of us and today He showed that more than ever. This job is perfect in timing, we will not have a period without two paychecks. God is so good and all the glory to Him! I am so thankful that He has provided for me once again.
