obsession

Recently I decided that I was spending way too much time on facebook so I have cut back my time spent on that site...unfortunately I now have 2 new online obsessions. They aren't as mind wasting though!
1. Pandora- it is a free internet radio. You can create your own station based on your music preferences. If it plays a song that you don't like you can tell them you don't like it and they will never play it again. I currently have 3 stations. I have a Monk & Neagle station, it plays artists with the same sound as them. This morning it played Monk and Neagle, Shane and Shane, and some other artists like that. I also made a Passion artist station. It plays music written or performed by Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, David Crowder, Charlie Hall or Christy Nockels. My other current station is Jason Mraz. I listened to this station when I was cleaning house yesterday. It plays music (so far) by Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Maroon 5, Howie Day, Coldplay, the Wallflowers and Matt Nathanson. Pretty good stuff! Check it out at pandora.com
2. Stuff Christians Like - a blog written by a guy from Northpoint Community Church in Atlanta. It is absolutely HILARIOUS! He is very sarcastic and he jokes about some of the things that Christians/churches do. Thank you Gary and Tracey for telling me about this site! Check it out at stufffchristianslike.blogspot.com!
