It seems that nothing has been going on the past few days, except that everything has been going on. It is just one of those times that you don't know what you have been doing except that you have been incredibly busy. That's how the past few days have felt.
Friday after school I rushed home to see Jeremy for a little bit before Linds and I went to the Holiday Market. She got off work at 4:30 and I picked her up at 4:45 and we went to an early dinner at Chic-fil-a...our favorite place to eat! Can I just say that I am 24 years old, seriously, and I still can't eat without making a mess. Before I even took a bite of food I had already squirted my white shirt with ketchup! So it was back to my house to change before we made it downtown. Linds' sister was working the market and we brought their booth food so we ended up getting in for free. It was a good thing too because I am not sure that it was worth the $10 to get in for me. They had some neat stuff but nothing I felt like I couldn't get anywhere else in town for about the same price. We did have fun just hanging out though. We got there about 6 and were finished walking through by 7:30. Linds got a monogrammed ring and I got a Christmas handtowel for the kitchen. Big spenders!
Saturday Jeremy and I spent the whole day running errands and hanging out. We grilled hamburgers for dinner and watched the Bama game off and on.
Sunday was another busy day...I worked the nursery front desk 1st service, then Sunday School and then went to 2nd service. We went to Salsarita's for lunch after church and ended up seeing our friends Margaret and Jason there so we ate with them and didn't leave until 1:3o and I was supposed to go to a wedding shower for Emily at 2 and I hadn't even gotten a gift yet. We ran to Target real quick so we could pick up a gift and then I went to the shower for bit. She had a great turn out. She is getting married in November. They are the last couple to get married from our LifeGroup and I know they are ready!
At LG last night we talked a lot about God's plan for our lives and what we think it is and do we think that He has a specific plan for everyone or is it a general plan. It was an interesting discussion. You would think that we would all agree on this but there were several different views. I strongly believe that God has a specific plan for me, personally and for Jeremy and I as a couple. I think I would feel very lost at times if I didn't think that. When I have having a hard time with something it is such a comfort to know that God has a plan for me and my life and He will work it out according to His plan and purpose. I love how in Psalms it says that he knew all the days of our lives before there was even one. How comforting to know that He already knows! Jeremy and I continued that discussion all the way home and until about 10 p.m. last night on a more personal, what does He have planned for us kind of note.
Can I just say that I REALLY love my husband! We have had the best time together lately, just hanging out and talking and doing things together. I am reassured everyday that I indeed married my best friend!
