You know those people that just rub you the wrong way?

To preserve the anonymity I have changed names in this post...
There is this person (I'll call them Ray), that has really been a slacker in one of my classes this year. And I have come to terms with the fact that Ray is not going to do their assignment well or on time. But Ray is in a class that is particularly close, we have a family type atmosphere in there. Well something happened with one of the member of this class and Ray and their sidekick Charles (again, name changed) were not very supportive of this person. There was an event yesterday that we all went to in support of this particular person and Ray and Charles were the only ones who did not go. Well, I was already ticked about that. Their excuse was that they didn't need to miss class when the truth was that they weren't even going to be doing anything anyways because half the school was to be at this event.
So yesterday upon my arrival back to school, Ray walks by my room and sees me and waves and I turn to L who was sitting in here and say quietly "I can't believe that they didn't even come to the event" well when I turn back to the front Ray is standing there. Luckily, they didn't hear what I said because I mouthed it mostly! Anyways, so Ray asks "How was the event?" and I was like, really did you just ask me that? but I was like "Sad" and they asked how the member was and I said "Good as can be expected I guess" and Ray said "It was so quiet and peaceful in here during class. It was nice." This is when I almost blew up!
Seriously....Seriously! It made me so mad, not only are you not going to show up for support you then proceed to tell me how nice it was that you didn't go and were the only ones in here! Am I wrong in being so irritated?
Whew! That felt good to get that all out!
